Iman McFarland Named 2005 Player of the Year

McNamara senior Iman McFarland has been named the 2005 Gatorade Maryland Girls Basketball Player of the Year.

Now in its 20th Anniversary season, the Gatorade High School Player of the Year Award honors top high school student-athletes for their athletic performance, as well as for their achievement in the classroom and overall character. Honorees are chosen by a National Advisory Board comprised of sportswriters and sport-specific experts from across the country, giving the award a reputation as the top honor in high school sports.
