Highlights
Glory Days Grill Invite, 13 Oct 2007
All runners ran season bests today as the team is beginning to peak with the WCAC Championship around the corner. Junior Kenny Hunt (17:56) and senior captain Joshua Choe (19:11) led the boys team. Junior Jeffery McDonald (19:52), freshman Johnathan DeVane (20:21) and junior Andrew Bannister (20:30) rounded out the scoring five for the boys. Of note, Kenny and Jeffery reached milestones by going under 18 and 20 minutes respectively. Kenny's time put him at 5th on the McNamara all-time list. It was Andrew's first race of the season after sitting out most of the season with illness.
The girls again were without a complete scoring team due to injuries. Junior Erica Minor (23:13) led the girls while senior captain Rachel Rochon (25:28) ran a personal best. Erica's time put her at 10th on the McNamara records list.
The team will compete next Saturday, 20 October, at the Georgetown Prep Classic.
Doc Jones Invite, 6 Oct 2007
The cross country teams competed at Annapolis High School on Saturday in the Doc Jones Invite. Though the teams were incomplete (seniors were taking SATs) the runners ran well on a different course than in years past. The teams were led by juniors Kenny Hunt (19:27) and Erica Minor (25:06).
Mercersburg Invite, 29 Sept 2007

The girls were led by junior Erica Minor who ran her personal best of 24:50 (15th best in McNamara history). Strong performances were also seen by seniors Joshua Choe (19:34) and Rachel Rochon (26:50). The Mustang runners will compete next Saturday at the Doc Jones Invite in Annapolis, Maryland.
