BMHS requires every student to take one credit of the Fine Arts (visual and/or Performing). . . . Most take more!

BMHS offers courses suited for students of all talent levels and experience (beginner through professional).

BMHS has a separate building that includes an intimate theater with state of the art technical capabilities.

BMHS has the only dance program in the Archdiocese of Washington.

BMHS has one of the only African dance and music programs in the area.

BMHS Fine Arts Department boasts 75% of the student body enrolled each year.

BMHS Fine Arts Department performs for the school community through liturgies, pep rallies and assemblies.

BMHS Band and Choir programs travel every spring nationwide performing for noteworthy music festivals (Orlando, Atlanta, New Orleans, Chicago, Toronto)

BMHS Dance program travels out of state every spring to perform, see shows, and see the sights.

BMHS graduates have gone on to study the arts at Peabody Conservatory, Manhattan Conservatory, Pratt Institute, the Corcoran School, Eastman, NYU and more.

Several BMHS alums can be seen nationwide performing or teaching.
